We had to refurbish our floors in our house and needed to move out several pieces of large antique furniture for a week or so. Your Local Movers were a pleasure to deal with, right from booking to the movers themselves. After a phone call on the designated day, the moving team – two cheerful guys – arrived and after thoroughly assessing the items proceeded to carefully and efficiently move everything to the truck and secure things down. Likewise at the temporary storage facility, they worked as smoothly coordinated team to pack it all away. Some of the items are very heavy and I was exhausted just watching them, and I didn’t have to move a thing! After the floors were done, the same moving crew moved all the furniture back in the same meticulous manner. A real pleasure to work with professionals who knew exactly what they were doing. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone!

We are so grateful that the rave reviews are all accurate. Looking for movers can be a tough decision, but we felt at ease booking with them even from the initial steps. I love that they have a forms booking system, as it makes communication and giving information much smoother. They came in such a timely manner, were very experienced, professional, careful, and very efficient. We greatly appreciate your help during our move! It was our first time moving with Your Local Movers, but we will surely be using their service again in the future!

After a high recommendation from my friend, my husband I and hired Your Local Movers this past summer to move our condo and storage unit into a brand new home. This crew was fantastic! The guys were clearly experienced and extremely efficient yet careful. They packed our boxes and furniture into the truck wisely and then unloaded many heavy items up and down stairs and to our desired locations. Their effort, respect, and friendliness was obvious throughout the day. From the minute they walked in the door, on a day that was overwhelming to me, I knew I had made an excellent decision!!

I think we all tend to pay more attention to negative reviews than positive ones. We want to prepare ourselves for the worst! Well, pay no attention to those bad reviews about Your Local Movers LTD. The great reviews are genuine. We got several estimates to move a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment a few blocks down the street. The most expensive estimate for a 3 hour move was about $1500. They insisted on 3 men (although I said 2 would be adequate) and they wanted to charge 1.5 hours travel time for each (3 of them) even though our move was 900 am on a Sunday morning and google maps estimated a 10 minute drive from their office. After speaking with Mobina, at Your Local Movers, it was clear that we found the right fit for us. She agreed that 2 movers was just fine and waived the travel fee based on our situation. The guys showed up on time, with an optimistic attitude. Our old place has NO parking and one elevator. We had to double park and move swiftly! They were happy to work with us to keep an eye on the needs of other tenants regarding parking and elevator limitations. We were out of there in just over an hour. At our destination, the elevator had been booked but had not been locked down for us. No problem, "call the property manager and we will load up the lobby in the meanwhile". We also had a minor crisis, where the fob for our destination place was packed in the pocket of a jacket at the front of the truck and we didn't realize it until it was behind the furniture. Again, no problem. We moved around some stuff, found the key and got on with it. Based on my recent moving experience and the people I worked with (Mobina, Arsha and Fred), I highly recommend Your Local Movers. Oh, forgot to mention, I was shocked at the price! We paid less for our entire move than the other company was asking for travel time. Unbelievable!
